Thiên Đường Cave

The Thiên Đường Cave, also known as “Paradise Cave” is a 31 km cave system located in Phong Nha, Vietnam, making it the largest cave system in the Ke Bang National Park. Completely surrounded by the thick jungle karst peaks, the cave was only discovered in 2005 by a local, after which the first 5 km of the cave was explored by the British Cave Research Association. The limestone formations are more spectacular than the Phong Nha Cave, hence the cave is popularly known as “Paradise Cave” to tourists. Parts of the cave reach heights of 72 m and 150 m wide. At this time however, only 1 km of the cave is open for public view.
